Stains That Are NOT Normal Discharge
🔴 Brown or rust-colored stains
- Old blood from your period

🟡 Yellow or green stains
- Often linked to bacterial or sexually transmitted infections
- May come with odor, itching, or irritation
⚪ Thick, white, cottage-cheese–like stains
- Common sign of a yeast infection
- Usually paired with itching or burning
⚫ Gray stains
- Strong indicator of bacterial vaginosis (BV)
- Often has a fishy odor
🟠 Pink stains
- Light bleeding, implantation spotting, or hormonal changes
- If persistent or painful, should be checked
